La beauté du geste 

A partir de la rencontre d'Auguste Rodin en 1906 avec les danseuses royales du Roi Sisowath, la princesse Buppha Devi a créé une nouvelle chorégraphie intitulée Neang Waddhana Devi. Monsieur Xavier de Lausanne a filmé cette aventure en suivant le travail de la princesse et nous fait découvrir l'histoire du Ballet royal à travers une évocation historique richement documentée. Le film sera suivi d'une danse Preah Thorn interprétée dans le pur style du début du siècle.

The perfect Motion

Based on Auguste Rodin's 1906 encounter with King Sisowath's royal dancers, Princess Buppha Devi created a new choreography entitled Neang Waddhana Devi. Mr. Xavier de Lausanne filmed this adventure, following the work of the princess and introducing us to the history of the Royal Ballet through a richly documented historical evocation. The film will be followed by a Preah Thorn dance performed in pure turn-of-the-century style.
